  I started my own fundraising organization to better my local community in addition to countries in need of aid. This is intended to be a platform, where anyone can contribute volunteer hours and benefit the society as a whole. At WeEmpowerLife, our mission is to to empower people (especially developing nations) by improving opportunities for education and healthcare. In order to achieve this, we fundraise for selected organizations and causes under the guidance of local NGOs and NPOs. We are currently partnering with several NGOs and non profit organizations like American Red Cross. The "Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping you be prepared to respond in emergencies." It definetly was not easy organizing 4 packing events within 1 semester (especially being a new club); but, I was able to push through with the help of teamwork and the Kids Against Hunger Club experienced immense success.
