  Currently a Safety Officer with Texas Task Force One, a state and federal (FEMA US&R) Urban Search and Rescue Team. This is a team variously configured as Type I or Type III structural collapse team as well as for Water Rescue. Previous positions held on the team include Technical Information Specialist (1997 to 2001) and Rescue Specialist (2001- 2008). Numerous deployments made with the team at both the state and federal level.

  HSE Manager

  Initially assigned as a QA/HSE Manager for Libya, which was at that time part of the Africa Middle East Division of Parker Drilling. I was then sent as part of a strike team sent to assist with QA/HSE issues in Saudi Arabia in early 2008. Assigned next to the Asia/Pacific Division and worked in Papua New Guinea as a QA/HSE Manager responsible for all aspects of safety from emergency response to workplace safety to rig camp hygiene as well as training of rig personnel until the rig was stacked. I worked briefly in Kazakhstan assisting the Regional HSE Manager in another strike team effort. Then worked briefly with the Liberty project during the construction and load out phase in Vancouver Washington as well as a brief period on the Alaskan North Slope sent there to investigate and assist in the resolution of some QA/HSE issues during the rig build. Worked as the Project HSE Manager for the refit/refurbishment of an arctic class barge Rig 257 in Baku, Azerbaijan and Bautino, Kazakhstan and was then assignment as the HSE Manager until the rig was warm stacked. Transferred in January of 2012 to Asia/Pacific division and worked as the rig based HSE Manager for Rig 266, a heli-rig (fly-rig) operating in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea. My last position with Parker was as the HSE Manager for Papua New Guinea. Show less
