      Under the command of the Circulation and Transport Schools 47 (VT S 47/4), soldiers and recruits are trained as future motorists and traffic soldiers for the Swiss Armed Forces.The skills, experiences and achievements of a Company Commander (Zeitmilitär) are unique to the sector and open up a range of opportunities within and beyond military service. Responsibilities vary widely across various job roles within each branch but typical activities include, planning maneuvers, assigning duties and communicating effectively with other staff. Other responsibilities are commanding, training and leading subordinate personnel, monitoring the welfare and progress of recruits, operating and maintaining warfare systems, equipment and vehicles and taking on special duties such as training and administration. Often activities such as the production of briefings, reports and distribution of equipment, resources and manpower are also covered by the responsibilities of a Company Commander. Show less

      As the national superior authority of all peace support operations abroad, the Armed Forces International Command SWISSINT is in charge of all human resources planning and management, recruitment/orientation (SWISSINT Roadshow), support and control, and training of individual staff members and contingents.Provide specific training and mentoring in the field of Peacekeeping Operations (unarmed) to potential future military observers (UNMEM) during the Swiss United Nations Military Observer Course (SUNMOC).       The European Union’s Military Contribution to the Stabilization and Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Family of Nations.United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1575, adopted unanimously on 22 November 2004, welcomed the EU’s intention to launch an EU military operation in BiH. It authorized the Member States acting through or in cooperation with the EU to establish a multinational stabilization force (EUFOR) as a legal successor to SFOR under unified command and control, which will fulfil its missions in relation to the implementation of Annex 1-A and Annex 2 of the Dayton/Paris Agreement. EUFOR has the main peace stabilization role under the military aspects of the Peace Agreement.Operational and administrative responsibility for a team of 15 inclusive of civilian interpreters and other local staff. Establishing and maintaining contacts to the population, local and state institutions, religious dignitaries, media, enterprises, educational establishments and governmental/non-governmental organizations. Observing and assessing the political, social and economic situation in the area of responsibility of LOT-Trebinje and maintain constant situational awareness. Compiling and cultivating the “Area Profile” of our AOR by processing and monitoring the database. Establishing links to EUFOR sensors in assigned areas of operations. Representation of LOT-Trebinje on visits from national and EUFOR sides and showing presence on important local events, preparation of several visits and responsible for well-being and safety.       EUFOR: Operation ALTHEA - The European Union’s Military Contribution to the Stabilization and Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina into the European Family of Nations.The “Ammunitions, Weapons and Explosives” (AWE) Masterplan, developed by EUFOR and the International Community (IC) and owned by the BiH Ministry of Defence, assigns EUFOR a leading role in the coordination of BiH’s and the IC’s efforts to reduce the amount of dangerous surplus AWE in BiH and establish a sustainable “Life Cycle Management”.The SAWAD is responsible for the overall coordination of the AWE Masterplan implemented in BiH.The Assistant Special Ammunition and Weapons Adviser (ASAWAD) works under the direct supervision of the Special Ammunition and Weapons Adviser (SAWAD). In particular with projects relating to the reduction and disposal of SALW and Ammunition stockpiles. Full authority to interact with all internal EUFOR staff, divisions and units (COS, MNB, LCC & LOTS), International Community (IC), AF BiH and national authorities in order to gather information and coordinate efforts.
