  During my tenure as a Senior Chief Engineer at Samsung, I have been at the forefront of driving innovation within the company. Notably, between 2021 and 2024, I achieved the grant of six patents through Samsung internal SIPMS system. One of these patents, US12056292B2, has already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), WIPO and KR. Besides my patent achievements, I have actively contributed to the development of Samsung's renowned Galaxy Buds Series, a line of hearable devices powered by RTOS technology. My dedication to fostering cutting-edge advancements has positioned Samsung as a leader in the industry, and I remain committed to driving further innovation in the future.During this period, I have achieved several awards from Samsung including, Inventor of the year 2023, Intellect of the quarter 2024, Excellence Award, Outstanding Team Awards and so on. Show less As a Chief Engineer at Samsung Electronics, I have accomplished a number of notable achievements. First, I earned certification as an Associate Software Architect from SATTI, the Samsung Advanced Technology Training Institute. This certification reflects my deep knowledge and expertise in software architecture.I also led a team in the development of the Samsung Healthcare robot called "Bot Care," which was showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2019 in Las Vegas. This robot won the "Best Product in Robotics Category" award at CES 2019, and represents a significant achievement for my team and me.In addition, I have designed and developed the Data Platform layer for Samsung's Personal Health Record (PHR) applications using FHIR, Android, and Kotlin. I also redesigned and refactored the iOS Samsung Health app for improved modularity, robustness, and performance, defining clear module system boundaries and interfaces.Furthermore, I established effective technical processes and policies, including the Proof Build System and Code Review Policies on Git/Gerrit, and integrated source code analyzer tools such as Infer, lint, UT, and UIT into schedule builds and proof builds for Samsung Health iOS. As a result of these efforts, I was awarded the "Best Code Reviewer" award in 2019 and was appointed architecting iOS Samsung Health to redesign version 2.0. Show less As a Technical Lead Engineer, I had the privilege of leading the development of several key projects that contributed significantly to the success of Samsung Health app for iOS.One of my major accomplishments was leading the development of the telemedicine service called "Ask An Expert" in collaboration with Amwell and Samsung Electronics. This feature was integrated into the Samsung Health app for iOS and enabled users to easily access remote medical consultations from their mobile devices.In addition, I played a critical role in designing the "Social" module of the Samsung Health iOS app at its initial phase, which has since become a cornerstone of the platform.To further enhance my skills and expertise, I acquired certification as a Software Competency (SWC) Professional from Samsung Electronics, which has enabled me to stay on the cutting edge of software development.Finally, I led the development of a proof build system for Samsung Health iOS, which has ensured code quality, branch stability, and effective peer reviewing, contributing to a more efficient and effective development process. Show less As a Lead Engineer, I developed and refactored Android apps, including Samsung Camera, Video Player, Gallery, and Bluetooth, for Samsung smartphones and wearables. I also designed and created a BLE-based iOS app for Samsung Smart TV and worked on Samsung Health for iOS. Additionally, I provided Tizen app development support for apps like Clock, Calculator, and Stopwatch, broadening my skills across different platforms. Overall, these projects enabled me to further refine my software development skills, demonstrating my ability to work creatively and think strategically. Show less As a Sr. Software Engineer, I have had the opportunity to make significant contributions to the development of almost 40+ smartphone models and 3+ wearable devices that were on the market. In this role, I had been responsible for developing new features, resolving application bugs, and refactoring critical codebase for preloaded Android applications for Samsung smartphones.Through my work, I had honed my skills in software development, enabling me to tackle complex projects and develop innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the market.
