My role was primarily as a bartender but I was also a waiter in the restaurant as well as an occasional chef when needed. For my role I need extensive knowledge of the world of beer so that I can help customers make a good selection from what can be an overwhelming range of beers.

  Assisted is the design of a machine to make salt flakes for a start up company. Working alongside one of the partners in the company I was required to take the design from concept to manufacture ready. I had many competing considerations when it came to the design including food quality standards, efficiency, long term durability, maintenance and up-front costs.Later also designed an Arduino based system to automate a major component of the production process.
