      I was an all trade engineer with in the gas turbine shop conducting reconditioning activities on the Rolls Royce Pegasus engine. The post involved complete overhaul of the engine down to nut and bolt level and then up to final test.

      Modifications control

      I was the air station focal point for modifications control on Merlin Mk1. I issued and recorded modification issues and provided returns to aid the configuration management of the Merlin Fleet.I also played a principle role in the Merlin Fleet upgrade programme which involved as large in service modification programme to update the aircrafts' mission and sonics capability.I was also the principal focal point for NVG modification to Mk5 and Mk7 seaking. Co-ordinated the collation and trending of all health and usage monitoring data to formulate engineering solutions to maximize aircraft availability for high level management tasking. Conducted annual helicopter material condition surveys and assurance test flights as a qualified non handling pilot on behalf of the chief engineer contributing to the annual duty holders continuing assurance monitoring cycle. Reporting to the Chief engineer as an SME as part of the Annual Review process and a key part of the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) management for UK Merlin. Delivery/authoring of complex technical processes and procedures ro enable delivery of training and technical feedback on behalf of the Design and Engineering Authority.       Accountable for Product and Quality Assurance to the worlds first commercial deep space antenna as part of a £9M upgrade programme for qualification on the European Space Agency (ESA) deep Space network. Sir Arthur Clarke Space award winner 2021 (Project Team).Accountable for the formulation and delivery of high level company policy in regard to the space and telecoms industry regulations.
