Show less Unified Storage Division -  Primary function is to apply the product based technical expertise, using standard operating and diagnostic protocols, to resolve standard to moderately complex system level issues that are negatively impacting product performance at EMC customer sites for varied skill groups :o Connectivity: Troubleshoot issues between host and VNX over the switch, for LUN access, Loss of path connectivity to the VNX, trespasses, host integration and registration, host agent issues, etc.o Replication: Handle issues with MirrorView (fractures and syncing) clones, Sancopy migration issues, snapshots, and dealing with access issues of secondary LUN.o Also look into replication performance issues.o Performance: Performance analysis on VNX Block environment, for any sort of performance issues faced in the customers environment.o Gather performance logs, and used performance analysis tools, to review the perf graphs and logs to identify potential performance bottlenecks. Provide a performance report to customer, pointing out to the various performance metrics (SP utilization, Cache/FAST cache dirty pages, Pool LUN utilization, HBA port Qfull, Throughput on drives, etc) issues to be addressed as per EMC’s best practices.o Hardware: Hardware issues on the VNX  Enclosures and drives, Storage processors, LCCs, SPS, management, I/O modules , etc. Analyze the issue over logs and provide recommended action or replacement to correct the hardware issue.
