  Annually, our Malaysian society produces an original musical/ play production. I was part of our society's production as technical director, lighting designer and on the music team. As tech director, I set deadlines for our tasks in our team, ensuring we got components such as sound files ready before get-in week. I also designed the lighting for the show, gaining some insight into using the light desk and using the cues with the help of the theatre manager. On showday, I was in the box cueing AV, lights and sound while communicating with backstage during scene transitions. Besides the technical side, I also worked with the music team to compose our original songs and participated in the senior dance. I attended most rehearsals too, providing opinions to the directing. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience where I performed in and committed to so many roles. Furthermore, allowing me to enhance my leadership, perseverance and teamwork skills. Show less
