  I supported everything happening within the four walls of company warehouses across the USA, and traveled 50% of the year to accomplish this. In this role I supported domestic branch managers and operations managers in designing their warehouses from racking design to material handling equipment needs, work flow and the hardware and software to support warehousing and distribution operations. Training and optimization of current systems while also probing for better solutions and implementing them was another major objective. In this role I also acted as the administrator for our in-house developed WMS and managed all major new customer implementations from an operational and IT/EDI perspective. I provided sales support through attending sales calls, hosting system demos, and responding to RFQ/RFP's. My favorite tasks involved 3D modeling of warehouses, researching new equipment and technology and challenging the status quo. Show less
