Local Project Manager in new facility for railway bogies manufacturing. Production capacity est. at minimum 1850 bogies/year with 15+ projects ongoing in parallel (regional, intercity, high capacity and metro trains as product families).- Leading Project Teams as a Functional Manager of Product Industrialization Manager, Project Industrialization Manager, Project Quality & Safety Manager, Project Supply Chain Manager, Project Procurement/Sourcing Manager mainly for execution of bogies manufacturing projects allocated to the site. Responsible for projects' margin, risks and savings. Liaising with other SSMs for the pre-production development of projects. Reporting to Project Managers for the whole train development, manufacturing and delivery to the final customer.- Head of site planning responsible for overseeing of 3 planning levels and for implementation of associated planning processes.- Head of local Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for projects' compliance with company's Project Management methodology and approach (DFQ process based on V-cycle with dedicated Gate Reviews as scheduled milestones to evaluate project's maturity at particular project life cycle stage). Responsible for the growth and expansion of local PMO towards projects development role (contrary to it's current executorial role). Show less Railway bogies manufacturing site for 3 projects of regional/high capacity trains in Coradia Stream family.Responsible for site execution of 3 planning levels as well as implementation of associated processes:- Strategic planning - Sales & Operation Plan with production volumes, workload and related financial evaluation for 3-8 years perspective. Baseline for strategic capacity decisions, projects allocations to the site and potential growth of the site. Quarterly routine reported to cluster and regional directors.- Tactical planning - Sales, Inventory and Operation Plan - monthly updated mid term (3-24 months perspecitve) site production plan. Baseline for following year's budget assumption and site wrap rate. Plan focuses on consolidating demands from other sites (customers for bogie delivery) and smoothing it with regard to industrial capacity (available jigs, tools and workstations), manpower, production space availability and material availability. Strict colaboration with Supply Chain manager to optimize stock levels and to keep Inventory in targeted financial level.- Operational planning - supporting Production Manager in creation and upkeeping of weekly-updated Master Production Schedule for bogies manufactruring workstation by workstation, day by day.Other responsibilities:- Preparation of new bogie manufacturing site planning-wise (whole Master Schedule) and capacity-wise based on VSM calculations, which were the base for business decision of opening the new site.- Supporting Industrialization and Supply Chain department with industrial processes knowledge and their optimization. Show less Extension of the previous responsibilities scope with:- Scheduling Overhaul in accordance with AgilePM.- Coordination of DFQ process for Pendolino and Overhaul projects.- Coordination and implementation of company's continuous improvement roadmap in the areas of Engineering, Quality (DFQ) and Project Management.DFQ - Development For Quality - Project Management Tool to continuously manage the maturity of the project and subsequently, at the end of each phase, evaluate the maturity for moving to the next one, with proper risk evaluation and mitigation plans. Transition between phases are formalized by control milestones called "Gate Reviews" and are based on the V-cycle standard method for managing project's development. Show less Project „Overhaul” for "Pendolino" trains – examination of the maintenance level 4 being the most complex one in accordance with maintenance plan. It consists of either detailed check of technical condition or planned replacement of components of every train system/subsystem as well as longer exclusion of the train from the traffic. Levels 1-3 have gradually more demanding tasks starting with visual inspection and ending up with replacement of small parts. Additionally level 3 requires exclusion of the train from the traffic for a short period of time. Responsibilities include:- Defining materials and components that are necessary for specific examination tasks,- Developing examination task processes based on process and systems approach,- Creating/updating required documentation and instructions,- Supporting RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) Engineer with measurement and analysis of key performance indicators for contractual maintenance,- Cooperating with Quality and Sourcing departments on "Make or Buy" analysis,- Supporting Sourcing department in talks and negotiations with internal and external suppliers regarding technical matters,- Co-leading and participating in train examination simulations in small project teams which include people e.g. from Production and Technical Departments.Additional responsibilities:- Preparing periodical examinations of lower maintenance levels concerning vital parts of the train (e.g. safety system) on a similar basis as the „Overhaul”,- Supporting Production, Corrective as well as Accidents&Vandalisms Departments in engineering matters.
