      Leaning on a vast degree of specialty fly fishing retail experience, completely overhauled a small town eight year old legacy store that was going through a transition ownership change. Organized the store into a new full service technically deep specialty fly shop. Areas of responsibility included complete inventory control, execution of all EOF's for preseason ordered merchandise, comprehensive employee and owner training, consumer traffic analysis for optimized floor planning, reconstruction of all retail fixtures to better display goods and services, all while keeping a keen eye on traffic flow, education, and an emphasis on technical rigging, flies and a robust fly-tying materials section. In addition to other achievements, I implemented a comprehensive proprietary fly inventory and cost analysis tool designed to make preseason ordering seamlessly efficient that included cost and margin analysis for each pattern across five manufacturers. Re-positioned a heavy inventory of lower margin soft and hard goods in favor of faster turning higher margin specialty products that improved the existing profit and set the company on a trajectory for +50% profit margin. Grew sales from $284,000 to $489,000 in the one year. Increased fly lines sales 172%, improved fly sales 60%, and re-positioned fly tying materials to yield a 109% increase in sales performance.
