Played a direct role in several million-dollar projects, including:o 3D modeling of dampening intake vessels for a 3.2 MW reciprocating natural gas compressor using ASPEN HYSYS, Gambit Fluent, and ANSYS Fluent, resultedin a 9% rise in compressor’s volumetric efficiency, lower vibration levels, and more reliable operation;o Redesign and significant modification of heavy-duty reciprocating gas compressors using reliability-centered design (RCD) following ISO 55000 to ensure environmentally-friendly, energy-efficient operation;o Root cause analysis (RCA) of dry gas seal (DGS) failures for a large-scale centrifugal propane compressor - caused by unwanted changes in feed gas properties - which led to a 16% drop in toxic leakage flaring.
