    • From the Back of a Motorbike - the new (old) Rugby Union Photo Archive

      Jan 1978 - now
      Rugby Union Photographer and archivist

For more than twenty-five years I photographed first class Rugby Union in England and Wales. For much of that time I was the lead Rugby Union photographer for the Sunday Telegraph Picture Desk, part of the highly regarded sports photography team that Nigel Skelsey and Malcolm Lang had carefully put together. After The Sunday Telegraph I owned and ran, with my business partner Tim Hewson the SportsNet UK (Later known as SpedeGrafix ) Sports Photo Agency based initially in Kings Langley and but soon moved to Park Royal NW10, within sight of Wembley Stadium.I ceased photographing sport as my main profession in 2003, however my archive is still here, hidden away in my office, and whilst I now concentrate on Conferences and Events, the Rugby Union Archive of Pete Jenkins lay dormant. Well no more. More than 700 hundred Rugby individual matches, and 50, 000+ frames to examine, edit and scan, it will be a long job, however it is already proving to be one of the most extensive privately owned and run Rugby Union archives of its kind.I am also photographjing rugby union againBringing the photographs of Rugby Union 'back in the day' - to the now Show less
