His extensive knowledge on the equipment was essential during the training and helped the soldiers to have a deeper understanding of the system.- PFC Snyder participated in numerous Battalion field training exercises. His knowledge, work ethic, and performance were key elements in maintaining the tactical air traffic control tower. This greatly contributed to the overall success of all battalion field training exercises. He assisted on the monthly preventative maintenance, checks, and services of five Remote Air-to-Ground facilities and one fixed base facility.- PFC Snyder was instrumental in ensuring the battalion mail room was above the standard resulting in the mail room being awarded Post Mail Room of the Year.
