1st Place in the Undergraduate Division for the AGA Government Finance Case Challenge Association of Government Accountants Dec 2021 AGA invites currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students to compete in a virtual Government Finance Case Challenge. Over two and a half weeks, student teams analyze data for an AGA–specified U.S. state, city or county government and develop a Citizen-Centric Report (CCR) for that location. The case challenge experience raises student awareness of the importance of government accountability and transparency, helps students learn how much "data" is available that needs to be turned into information for citizens to consume, and raises awareness about exciting careers in government.Submissions are judged by a panel of government finance experts, and finalists are invited to present their findings in a team-created video of a mock government meeting. Graduate teams are judged against graduate teams; and undergraduate teams are judged against undergraduate teams.
