  During the summer of 2008, I was an intern at Suddenlink Communications, a top-10 cable and internet provider. I worked in the corporate communications department at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. I spent the summer drafting press releases and assisting in the production of the quarterly company newsletter. I also maintained the internal company website by posting stories and pictures about employee awards and achievements. I worked with and interviewed employees from around the country to obtain information for my posts.
