While in this position, I oversaw the school’s administration, including conducting staff orientations, training and managing staffing, and leading meetings with parents and staff. A couple of my successes in this position include:► I developed and implemented a schoolwide program/system that reinforced positive behavior by encouraging community building and recognizing students’ achievements and responsible behaviors/efforts. This motivated older students to form groups to devise ways to improve the school. The system runs at the school to this day.► I learned German to effectively communicate with parents despite initially having no German-speaking experience.
