      - I'm responsible for the British Business Bank’s ENABLE Funding programme – which uses securitisation techniques to warehouse newly-originated SME finance receivables from different originators who lack the scale required to access capital markets. Once the structure has sufficient scale, the BBB refinances a portion of its funding on the capital markets via either private placements or public securitisations- I manage a team of 5 people in all stages of deal execution including origination and marketing (together with BBB’s Relationship Team), internal credit submissions, operational reviews, structuring and cash flow modelling to achieve the optimal credit enhancement, negotiation of transaction terms with the relevant parties, review of legal documentation, etc.- As per the ENABLE Funding programme's objectives, I'm involved in the capital markets take out phase by liaising with rating agencies, investors, bookrunners and other transaction parties- During deal execution, I provide guidance and support to originators (smaller non-bank lenders, many times unfamiliar with securitisation techniques) to set up the appropriate operational infra-structure, typical of securitisations. I also design solutions to resolve transaction issues which are non-standard, commercially sensitive or require further product development- I liaise internally and with the relevant Government departments to obtain transaction approvals- I provide support to the Operations Team in managing and monitoring live transactions post execution- Show less
