  Curriculum Leader

  Working as the curriculum leader for PE, the first in the organisation's history, I established a curriculum of PE, for students with Autism.This involved directly teaching, working with colleagues to continuously improve the provision, and working with other organisations to provide a holistic and well-rounded offer, for the students.

  Starting as a Learning Support Officer, I moved into a lecturing role after 12 months.I lectured on a number of sports subjects, majoring mainly around Sports Development modules, and sports studies. I also taught on the A Level PE programme.In addition, I also coached the college's rugby union team, in my own time.

  Working as part of team across the country, growing the game of rugby union in England. Components of this include managing a team of staff, a budget, and working with a wide-range of volunteers. In recent times, I have been successful in growing the game of rugby union, in what is a challenging time for most sports, across the country. This has included winning recognition rewards for my work, as well as being ranked in the top 5% of performers in the organisation. I get great satisfaction from taking a partnership approach, working with the many other organisations I do. My ultimate satisfaction comes from working with a high number of dedicated volunteers; their passion is infectious. Being a volunteer myself, I fully-understand the fine balancing acts they often perform.I also work on a number of national projects, including the Game Management System, our game-wide database, CRM, and our Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year programme.
