  I pursued my summer internship under the mentorship of Prof. Sandhya S. Visweswariah, Department of Molecular Reproduction, Development & Genetics (MRDG). My internship project focused upon developing cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) sensors utilizing the concepts of molecular cloning.

  I pursued my M.S.(Pharm.) study under the mentorship of Dr. Abhay H. Pande. My thesis study focused on in-vitro refolding of recombinant human Prolidase using alginate polymers.

  I am currently pursuing research as part of my graduate studies in Dr. Krishna Boini's laboratory. My thesis study aims at understanding the pharmacological contribution of high mobility group box (HMGB)-1 towards driving cigarette smoke induced podocyte injury and glomerulosclerosis. Beyond my thesis study, I have also led studies aiming towards comprehending the role of gut microbial metabolite trimethyl-N-oxide (TMAO) towards mediating endothelial injury and initiating atherogenesis.
