  At NDE Professionals I played a quality control role for Harder Mechanical Contractor’s at the Chevron Refinery #4 crude unit fire recovery project in Richmond, CA. I was responsible for overseeing work plans and weld mapping of the structural components of the #4 crude unit pipe racks and visual weld inspection of carbon steel and chromium piping. Inspections were performed per AWS D1.1 structural, AWS D1.8 seismic, CBC and City of Richmond, CA building codes, and ASME B31.1 piping examination.

  UT Shear Wave Specialist

  At Evraz North America I was company certified as a Level II UT shear wave technician performing weld quality testing of 36” X .531” helical spiral pipe after the pipe had been tested with automated UT. Weld quality testing was performed per the specifications of API 5L and the Canadian provisions of CSA. A completed 107 miles of piping was produced at the Evraz Portland, OR facility for the 600 miles Flanagen South Project Pipeline.
