  I am incredibly grateful to have participated in the Habs' Model United Nations, an experience that pushed me to grow both as a speaker and a debater. Representing Mexico in the Committee on the Question of Equitable Access to Healthcare, I had the opportunity to navigate complex discussions, defend resolutions, and think on my feet in high-pressure debates.The challenge of addressing tough questions, countering critiques, and advocating for my delegation’s stance was tough but rewarding.   Solicitor Shadowing

  I had the amazing opportunity to shadow attorney, Shamla Pather, at her woman-led law firm in which I observed a trial proceeding, attended an arbitration, prepared court documents, and analyzed legal materials. These experiences strengthened my attention to detail, legal writing and research abilities. Observing a trial proceeding was an invaluable experience that highlighted the human side of the legal profession and fueled my passion for litigation. Being able to watch the legal strategies unfold in real-time gave me a deeper understanding for the importance of thorough preparation and persuasive argumentation, whilst also reinforcing the impact that well-crafted legal narratives can have on a case’s outcome.   Kent Law Clinic Client Advice Session

  I had the unique opportunity to participate in a virtual advice session with a professional family law advocate and real clients. It was incredibly insightful to witness the initial stages of a divorce claim and observe how a lawyer provides legal guidance to a new client whilst remaining empathetic during such a critical time in clients' lives.

  Winter Virtual Vacation Scheme

  I completed Legal Cheek's virtual vacation scheme for aspiring lawyers. The week-long itinerary involved numerous workshops and presentations from several city law firms including Slaughter and May and White and Case. The topics discussed covered a wide range of legal professions, from employment law to commercial law, and showcased the skills and work inherent to each field.
