  As a Resident Assistant , Olivia was a live in resource for her peers. Overseeing a floor of a building where residents at St. John Fisher College lived. She provided support for residents in many different forms. Such as, mediation , programs, conflict resolution , and any general student support needs. She , learned many lessons through her experience as a resident assistant, such as,how to maintain a budget, plan programs, and how to maintain a community comprised of many different people.

  Literacy Tutor

  Olivia worked one-on-one with students in kindergarten through third grade for 20 minute daily sessions. Olivia worked using scripted interventions, provided by the Wisconsin Reading Corps. Olivia conducted various interventions which were used to help build early literacy skills. She also conducted literacy assessments and entered student data into an online data system, in order to monitor student progress and help with planning and setting goals for each student. While serving for AmeriCorps , she worked to become a part of the schools community and establish a connection with each of the students she had the opportunity to work with.
