  The aim of the club is to inculcate among students a fondness for language and enhance their literary skills. The Club encourages the Claretines to develop a taste for literature and also work towards improving their spoken and written language. It is involved in a variety of activities aimed at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of students in facing various interpersonal activities and competitions. The club will provide a platform for:1. To encourage students become orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence. 2. To promote communication skills of students and help in team work ,ability to speak and emote before a audience thereby increasing the emotional quotient of the students. 3.To promote the ability to organize and analyse the available resources and adopt technological advancements to present ideas, creativity and artistically.This club has helped me to improve my skills, confidence and personality as a whole. Being a part of this club, I had to participate and organize events that would befit the mandate of the club.   GraVITas is VIT University’s Annual Technological and Design Carnival. This festival is an endeavor to provide a platform to all individuals to showcase their skills and improve their innovation skills in the fields of technology. The three day festival sees participation of students from all across the country and also promotes exchange of ideas and sparks a collective growth in development of this nation and its youth.Chirag was responsible for coordinating events, including planning and ensuring that the events went on successfully. Placement Boat helps you in rowing you away from the sea of 'Ignorance' by help you prepare for GD, Puzzles, Case Studies, Technical Interviews & HR Interviews. It shares the interview experiences of the people who have made it big in their campus placements and gives important tips and key points regarding the same. It also helps the students to prepare for competitive exams like GRE, TOEFL, etc.As an intern, Chirag was required was to take interviews of all the students of VIT University who had great campus placement experience. The interview questions of the placement boat were designed in such a way to share every tiny detail of the Do's and Dont's of the campus interviews. Show less

  The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. is a metro system serving New Delhi and its satellite cities of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad in National Capital Region in India. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC), a state-owned company with equal equity participation from Government of India and Government of Delhi, built and operates the Delhi Metro.I did my internship at two sites of DMRC CC-64R project, viz. Karkardooma Court and Maujpur station. The total budget of these two stations are 125 crore. Two companies are involved in this project. One is Vijay Nirman Company and other is JMC Projects India Ltd.Some of the major things that I learned from the ongoing works were:1. Design of drains2. Bar Bending Schedule3.
