  Working on the L-Dopa sensor. Testing enzymes that bind to L-dopa, a protein used in replacing dopamine in patients with Parkinson's disease My team and I built an adaptive walker with the use of a 3D printer and Onshape for a senior citizen moving to an area with rocky terrain. The walker had a 3D-printer armrest, PVC pipes for the body, and 10-inch wheels to allow for motion of the walker through rocky terrain. Used Soldering skills to rewire and refurbish old toys to give to children in the UNC memorial hospital Worked with a graduate student under Dr.Jason Franz of the Applied Biomechanics Laboratory at UNC to collect data on the effects of mediolateral optical flow perturbations on walking speed. Helped time the distance that the test subject took to walk in each trial.
