  Chief Operating Officer

  As the Chief Operating Officer (previous position Chief People Officer) of Educational Media Foundation (EMF) I served as a strategic partner and advisor for our CEO, CFO, CCO and other C-Suite Executives on a broad-base of business and employee relation initiatives. I guided our strategic planning and implementation and ensured our values and culture were at the forefront of serving our audiences. I had the privilege of leading a team of talented executives and staff to execute strategic initiatives across media and content platforms that include new product development, technology innovations, data science analytics and reporting, engineering best practices, compliance, finance, pastoral care and people/culture programs and projects. Serving close to 500 team members in 27 states, prior to my role as COO, I served as Chief People Officer where I was responsible for the foundation of our organization, which was our people. I designed and implemented effective employment strategies, experiences, and systems. This included impactful projects like the development of a performance conversation approach and system, a compensation program, training and development courses, and culture initiatives including the establishment of leadership teams and wellness programs with more than 75% participation.
