  As an employee at The Ranch Taproom and Coffeehouse I am required to work as a server, bartender, and barista during the same shift. This job has taught me more about multitasking, interpersonal communication skills, and food safety regulations in a restaurant atmosphere. Multitasking is very important because I also have multiple table to serve which means I have to put in multiple food orders, pour different drinks, and make a variety of different coffees. When serving tables I have to communicate effectively with the customers so they enjoy their experience at the restaurant. Everyone at the restaurant has to follow strict food safety rules so that the the food is safe to consume and the environment is safe for the workers. Show less

  In this position I developed organizational leadership and problem solving abilities. I had to conduct scientific tests on various products and effectively write scientific reports on the results and findings. As the lead technician I helped with Brand Management by understanding the needs of costumers and using this knowledge to meet these needs through product evaluation and quality control. I was responsible for plant inspections with the intention to pass quality and food safety audits.

  I am responsible for the accounting, program of work coordination, membership services support, and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director. In this position I also assists the Board of Directors and its committees as needed and works with Polk Farm Bureau Insurance agents and staff to support organization efficiency.
