  During my employment at Punj Lloyd, I worked on an LSTK (Lump Sum Turn Key) oil refinery construction project. As a new graduate engineer, I was responsible for expediting the delivery of electrical engineering materials such as power cables, earthing materials, switchboards etc. The work involved overseeing the process end-to-end from design specification, through procurment and upto and including delivery at the construction site.In my first exposure to the corporate world, I experienced how important it is to keep one's work organized and also learnt the importance of building good professional relationships because no matter how good one may be at their own job, one is always a part of a team and for the team to succeed, there needs to be proper communication among all team members and stakeholders.   I worked closely with the Quantitative Risk team in my role at The Smart Cube. I was involved in building pricing models for vanilla options using python and in building regression models, using R for simulating financial risk.We also used T-SQL to help our clients with regulatory reporting requirements.

  I am leading the Reporting and Analytics team for a project to integrate two massive (80 GB+) SSAS models into a single integrated model.As the IT lead of the Reporting and Analytics team, I am responsible for ensuring that the reporting needs of the business are fulfilled. We primarily use Power BI dashboards for the purpose. The dashboards can either be import based, thus creating their own datasets, or live.I help to fulfil the analytics needs of the business by using various tools and technologies such as Tabular models built in Power BI, PowerPivot, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). We use advanced DAX, M, T-SQL, Excel, and VBA among other technologies.I have also helped to train and skill up the team in Tabular modelling and DAX. Show less
