  Industry Research Assistant

  This role involves assisting in the development of industry reports and academic papers on sustainable transitions for a range of beneficiaries from local councils to industry professionals and national governments. This work has been combined with my study in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and my commitments with the Adelaide University Entrepreneurship Club and the Adelaide Sustainability Association to help improve sustainability projects and goals both within Adelaide and on a national and international level. Some of the projects undertaken include collaborations with State Government and The City of Adelaide on the Carbon Neutral Adelaide Program; Undertaking research projects with the Sustainable Built Environment national research centre (SBEnrc); assisting with the teaching of subjects such as energy management and economic Policy and infrastructure and sustainability one. I'm also involved in the development of the Carbon Neutral Market District project where I was responsible for a team and helped develop a Greenhouse Gas emissions report where I developed a tool to map emissions within the district and came up with recommendations on how to reduce emissions within the district. To keep this ecosystem growing and encourage a more entrepreneurial mindset in the next generation of business men and women there is a gap to fill; one which requires collaboration across not just university faculties and disciplines, but across the South Australian universities themselves.The Seed Round is a student-led organisation aiming to fill this gap. The basis behind the program is a focus on innovating, creating and having fun whilst addressing problems relevant to companies, organisations and government in South Australia and abroad. Students of all disciplines, year levels and 'entrepreneurial level' can participate in the challenge. Show less

  As the leader of DXC's strategic partnership programs with educational institutions, my responsibilities encompassed the entire development process, from stakeholder engagement to program delivery. These programs were designed in collaboration with some of Australia's largest educational institutions, such as TAFE SA, University of South Australia, and Western Sydney University, to address DXC's strategic business needs related to skill development and emerging technology adoption.Some Highlights of These programs including an 80% hire rate across eight intakes, with more than 90 students participating in the TAFE SA program. This program was also nominated for the South Australian Training awards twice in 2020 and 2022 for industry collaboration. Similarly, the University of South Australia program achieved a 95% hire rate. In addition, I led the co-development and design of the Western Sydney University Innovation Lab projects and internship. These programs allowed WSU students to work on real-world innovation projects led by subject matter experts and Scrum Masters from DXC. All these programs have been developed with DXC and our customer's needs in mind. Show less Responsible for the Development of the DXC TAFE SA industry placement pathway. Leveraging of the Success of the TasTAFE program. The DXC TAFE sa Cert 4 aims to give students a real world work experience while undertaking a cert 4 in IT. I'm also responsible for the development and design of DXC Digital Traineeship, the digital traineeship is a 2 year traineeship program in networking and and infrastructure and Software development.
