  Joined Mercantile Bank Ltd. as Management Trainee Officer (MTO) back in July 01, 2018. Since then I have been serving Mercantile Bank Limited in various position and capacity. From the year 2008 to 2014 worked at Research & Planning Division, Risk Management Division at Head Office where I was entrusted to implement Basel II regime of the Bank, preparation of ICAAP document under pillar 2 of Basel II, Issuance of subordinated Bond, Preparation of Capital Planning, Market Disclosure in line with Basel II. Since 2014, I have been serving at International Division, Head Office & looking after the FI part of the Bank. During last 6 years of journey in FI, I had the opportunity to work with renowned Banks across the world like Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Commerzbank AG, Standard Chartered Bank etc. and multilateral development institutions like ADB, IFC, IDB in the arena of credit and ML/TF compliance. Also worked with and rating agency Moody's for conducting rating of the Bank. Taking care of 600 plus RMA, 24 Nostro Accounts in various currency and over USD 700 million equivalent credit line with various banks across the world has facilitated Mercantile Bank to attain a commendable position in Foreign Trade Business in the Banking Industry of Bangladesh. As a CAMS holder, I also played significant role while preparing Trade Based Money Laundering Guidelines for the first time in the history of Mercantile Bank in 2020 under capacity of Member Secretary.I received national level award as one of the top five 'Young Bankers' in Bangladesh in the year 2018; a program arranged by Mercantile Bank Limited under the heading " MBL Young Bankers Appreciation Award-2018" to encourage young bankers of the country. I also Like to write article on national daily on contemporary issue on Banking and Economy. Show less
