  Team Leader - Trainee Assistant

  As a Team Leader for Mitchell & butlers I have many responsibilities. I firstly have full responsibility of the bar and stock. I also train new members of staff in key areas using different training methods. I use the different systems implemented by Mitchell & Butlers. Product Knowledge and customer service are also key areas. I was recently acknowledged for my customer service and hard work on Trip Advisor by an unknown member of the public. I am very proud of this achievement as my hard work ethic has been recognised by the guests that visit my place of work. Its the first time within the brand that an employee's name has been acknowledged on Trip Advisor. I will use this as a stepping stone to work my way up the ladder and achieve the goals I have set.For my hard work I have now been appointed trainee assistant. Here I will learn the more important roles within running a hospitality organisation. In the next few months I will be learning how to deal with cashing up, extensive use of all the different systems used such as PPS & SWS. High risk count, food stock take and wet stock take. After these two months I will then be taking my personal licence allowing me to hold my own pub or restaurant. I have set myself the goal within the next 5 years I would like to become an area manager. I feel that my experience within this industry and also being young would help me put across new ideas to the higher management to attract new customers in different ways.One of my greatest achievements for Mitchell's & Butlers is transforming a young lad from a Pot wash in the kitchen, to now a trainee assistant at one of the largest VPK's in the Midlands area. I trained him from the beginning, from him being a very shy timid young lad, to now becoming very successful within Mitchell & Butlers.   In January 2-15, I was promoted as Ultra Finishing Area Sales Manager in the Midlands. I am currently looking after small and large retailers, supplying them with a high level of service, and a fantastic product portfolio. I am also keen on looking and developing leads by introducing our products, what we have to offer to their business, what the business does to ensure itself as one of the market leaders in the industry and the level of testing to its products. Ultra Finishing is a manufacturer in the bathroom industry, a never standing still company, developing new products, and introducing innovative designs to compete against other leading competitors in the bathrooms industry.   In April 2016, I was appointed the new Area Sales Manager in the Midlands for Reginox UK. Here I will be selling our products to Retailers, Merchants, Onliness and house building companies. I will be introducing new customers to our products via leads through the internet, trade shows and other routes to market. Our product portfolio consists of Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks, Ceramic and Composite Granite Kitchen sinks. Taps, Accessories and Waste Disposal Units. Reginox is the first organisation to introduce coloured Stainless Steel into the industry. Here we have manufactured kitchen and bathroom sinks in 3 different colours. However, larger quantities can include many other colours. This was recently displayed at the KBB in Birmingham, along with the PITT range of ceramic burners integrated into solid worktops.Reginox head quarters is based in Holland, and is part of the Ter Steege Groep.   I will be managing a portfolio of key accounts in the North of England. I’ll be building strong, sustainable relationships with our partners and promoting our products and services. My role at Blum UK is working with Manufacturers who purchase our products via the Distribution Network and a number of direct accounts. This can be current businesses or new prospects.My aim is to add value to businesses in a number of ways such as manufacturing processes, product knowledge, services, design, knowledge of the market and current trends. In June 2018 I was appointed Customer Service Representative for Blum UK in the Midlands. I will be looking after BUK customers from the distribution network. This would include kitchen and bedroom manufactures that purchase Blum products. I will help introduce products, jigs and show other support methods to our customers to help them get the best out of the Blum brand.
