  Internship

  For the preparation of my thesis project I attended an internship in a cooperative that owns a biomass plant. I made an analysis of the consumption and on the impact of this activity on the environment, with the balance of CO 2 equivalent. The title of the thesis is: “Biomass energy. Study of the functioning of an installation of anaerobic bio-digestion to produce 1 MW of electricity from residues livestock and agricultural bio-products”.

  "Creating an industrial center for the manufacture of solar photovoltaic components in an emerging economy".Full-semester team project at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), whose goal was the development of a successful plan of investment to realize a new facility for the manufacture of PV products with the company Meyer Burger Ltd. The project development was divided into many stages characterized by a set of objectives to be achieved. The principal ones were:• the assessment of the strategic products of the company and the market where it operated;• the analysis of the PV global market trend;• the identification of the most profitable industry and the selection of the most suitable technology to proceed with the investment;• the assessment of the facility costs and the economic returns throughout the initial phase (construction + early production);• the simulation of the preparation phase for the manufacturing plant (material retrieval, partners selection, logistics definition, manpower hiring and training, project execution schedule and phases, financial capital retrieval).The project was supervised and evaluated by Oier Bolibar, the Sales Director of the company.
