  Karl Koederitz worked as a Design Engineer in the Drivetrain department on the 8R Infinitely Variable Transmission. The 8R Tractor is John Deere's largest row-crop tractor, designed, manufactured and produced in Waterloo, IA. In his role, he was responsible for implementing design changes on the current model, interfacing and supporting the factory during the production of the transmission, in addition to helping design future transmissions.
