  I worked with Prudential’s Employee Experience team for my 3rd Year Final Year Project(IHRP/FYP). Being a student consultant, I had regular meetings with my teammates and the mentors in Prudential to understand their problem statement and collaborate towards working for solutions.Through innovation, creativity and guidance from my lecturer and mentors, me and my team were able to come up with practical solutions to implement and help with the onboarding process(my problem statement) in Prudential. In the 5 months working on this FYP I learnt both soft and hard skills. Hard skills such as designing a website, infographic, using WhatsApp business and integrating with the other teams’ solutions. For soft skills, I learnt how to have effective communication and time management as the deadlines are tight and I have to manage multiple modules in this semester. Additionally, I also volunteered to coordinate the infographic posters for my class for the final gallery walk, where we showcased our solutions and share how they work and value add to Prudential.   Skills and knowledge I have acquired as an intern:• Supporting the Global People team on the Gallup Engagement Survey tracking analytics, sharing insights and follow-up actions• Mapping processes on headcount, organisation changes, programmes and communication• Performing data analytics on star talents in ASM• Collaborating with Global People teams to roll out culture and talent programs including vendor management in regions (Flexible and odd hour meetings required)• Embedding and cultivating ACE behaviour values into the company• Communicating with the People team and other departments to get work done•Participating in the Performance management calibration process towards the end of my internship and linking back to talent management.Key highlights:•Performing Data Analytics through analysing Gallup Heatmaps and providing solutions for managers to improve their engagement within their teams •Working with the Chief Human Resource Officer(CHRO) for a corporate video project, for the purpose of employee communication and engagement to embed stronger culture within ASM•Working with senior leaders and Exco members on similar corporate video projects to boost employee morale and start the year on a good note•Planning and drafting emails for mass sending throughout the organisation, requiring clear cut communication and clarity to support operations.
