Show less Main Duty and Responsibility: Manage life insurance policies and trust accountsTrust Administration:- Generate and send Gift Notices to the Grantor(s), requesting gifts to the trust to fund the payment of premiums.- Send Crummey Notices to withdrawal beneficiaries,- Monitor policies until either a gift to fund the payment of a premium is received or it is determined that no gift will be made.Policy Monitoring- In addition to monitoring a policy for payment of premium, Trust Account Specialist monitors each policy for things such as Term conversion and premium increases, expiration of riders, policy sustainability issues, identify and assist in resolving a variety of issues such as discrepancies in the owner, beneficiary, tax id on a policy between trustee and carrier records; policy loan payoff amounts; obtaining transaction histories from carriers;and obtaining service forms from carriers.Life Insurance Policy Reviews- Performed annually on each policy held within a trust. Once completed, the reports are sent to clients and grantor(s).Other Duties and Responsibilities- Onboard new client accounts and policies.- Act as a point of contact and provide daily support for our external clients- Establish and maintain close working relationships with external and internal clients.- Provide assistance and be back-up for various internal roles (customer service, trust administrators and administrative assistants)- Assist in the preparation of special projects and help coordinate materials to launch these projects.
