Under my leadership, we achieved a 6% increase in COP levels within six months.• Product Ownership of High-Capacity Reciprocating Compressor At Beko, I managed the development of the largest cooling capacity (295W) reciprocating compressor. By leveraging existing parts and processes, I saved $100,000 and maintained serial production continuity. Additionally, I resolved the crank eccentric shaft wear problem by reducing vibrations via optimizing the counterweight on the crankshaft and rotor.• Design of Efficient Thrust Ball Bearing Through extensive literature research and stiffness analysis using HyperMesh, I designed a reliable and efficient thrust ball bearing, enhancing compressor efficiency by 2%. This innovation contributed to a $4 million annual increase in sales.• Leadership at Herrick Conference I led Beko's R&D department at the 50th Herrick Conference, guiding my team to publish a record number of manuscripts in a single calendar year, marking a significant achievement for the company.• Optimization of Journal Bearing Forces with MATLAB Utilizing my own MATLAB code, I analytically optimized journal bearing forces, leading to the design of a new connecting rod that reduced piston lateral forces by 20%.• Stress/Strain Analysis for Vibration Reduction Conducting stress/strain analysis using Nastran, I designed an aluminum connecting rod that decreased compressor vibration levels by 15%.
