Halfway through my tenure at Covala Group, I was promoted to manager of the billing department, where I supervised a team of four employees, reviewed all of their work and led job training sessions in addition to my client work.   Since joining Laderach, my position has changed and grown and I've been able to lead a number of different parts of human resources and help on even more.I handled all of payroll for the entire company (45 separate stores between the US and Canada and 500 employees). I installed and revamped the payroll process to make it much more accurate and efficient.I was in charge of onboarding employees, maintaining our HRIS system, coordinating employee timesheets with store managers, training employees and managers on new systems and answering employee questions.I built payroll and general ledger reports for the finance department and parent company, handled payroll tax filing over 8 different states, as well as Canada. Reviewed and distributed employee’s W-2s and T4sI created and monitored company policies for minor work permits, meal and break laws, emergency worksite closures, and ROE filing in Canada. Created the current company PTO policies. And most recently, I oversaw implementation of a new onboarding system, a new HRIS, and a new timekeeping system- experienced with UKG Pro, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Workforce Now On the Go, Jobvite, HotSchedules, BenefitSolver, and SAP.
