      As the Engineering Manager of the CSR Bradford Glass Wool Insulation factory in Ingleburn NSW, I was responsible for the management of the engineering development and maintenance activities on site. In this role I had 23 engineering and trade personnel reporting to me and managed an annual budget of $8m. During this time CSR implemented their SAP system and I was the site subject matter expert for the implementation of the Maintenance Management processes on site.My key achievement in this role was improving the site daily throughput by 20% through the implementation of numerous equipment reliability improvements. My responsibilities in this project included; development of the overall requirements, confirmation of business benefits, establishment of project budget, selection and engagement of the Contractor, managing the change and communication to personnel, progress reviews and the regular reporting to the CFO and Winc leadership team.This project was delivered on time and on budget, the new office design to accommodating 500 personnel with 30% reduction in floor space resulting in annual cost savings of $2m. The scope included the Site Buildings and Camp assets, plus the Water & Waste Water treatment and distribution assets. In this role I was responsible for; the development and execution of the Transition Management Plan, establishing and maintaining the project schedule, negotiation of resource and equipment requirements with the client, implementation of all business process and systems plus regular reporting to the client and internal leadership teams on the transition progress.My key achievement in this role was the on-time handover of services from incumbent contractors to Downer, recruiting and on-boarding over 320 new Downer personnel to deliver the services. Included in this was the establishment of a new Computerised Maintenance Management System to manage all maintenance activities utilising field-based technology for trades personnel to manage their work. In this role I was responsible for; development and implementation of all business processes and systems for the Joint Venture operations to meet the NEC Contract requirements, mobilisation of personnel and equipment required to deliver the services, liaison with counterparts in the North and West regions, and detailed reporting of progress and risk management in the mobilisation program.My key achievements in this role where; the on-time go-live of the integrated service delivery team for the South region with circa 190 people in the team, implementation of the systemised processes for all business functions providing easy access to information for personnel to do their jobs and successful mobilisation of the first major contract for an NSW Government Corporation using the NEC4 collaborative style of contracting.       Frontline Strategic Services were engaged by the Downer's Health and Education Division to review the asset management practices, processes and systems in use on 16 different Public Private Partnership Contracts covering both Health and Education facilities. The review involved detailed site visits for each Contract to review the Asset Management process andthen the development of potential improvement plans and a common Asset Management Operating Model across all Contracts.My responsibilities included conducting detailed site visits to 10 Contracts in the portfolio, then consolidation and detailed analysis of a report of the findings from all 16 Contract visits. The outcome was prioritised improvement actions for the development of the of Asset Management systems and process for each individual Contract as well as business wide improvement actions across the portfolio.
