Established a new team of Domain IT Architects and Internal Consultants who provided strategic and tactical advice to business teams to support inititives, business cases, and projects. PM role within the IT Group. The role entailed identifying, scoping and managing project opportunities, building up the project portfolio visibility and ensuring adherence to corporate practices. Principal advisor to the Chief Topographer / Hydrographer where I provided operational, technical and market insight input into the enhancement of Topographic data policy and strategy. Work included cross-agency project collaboration to introduce and implement a NZ geospatial metadata standard profiling ISO19115 for describing NZGovt geospatial datasets. I provided the secretariat function for the LINZ chaired Officials Committee on Geospatial Information.
