      Shift Lead

This was my first job when I could start working, but I learned basic skills needed for the workplace. I learned to be responsible, time management, how to work with others, and how to train new employees. I trained 5+ new employees on customer service, food production, and on how to open and close a store when needed. I also dispatched each bank deposit on the weekends before the store opened. I presented excellent customer service by resolving customer complaints and preparing customer’s food in a timely manner. When there was a rush of people, that is when I learned how to handle more than one thing at once. Lastly, I administered the cash register and customer’s orders throughout my shifts. A basic skill I also learned there was communication with people you do not know. Show less

    • Starbucks

      Sept 2017 - May 2019
      Barista

I managed customer orders at the cashier and I rang about 200+ customers out on a daily basis. While I prepared and made the food and drinks for each customer, I displayed excellent customer service by answering questions and providing solutions to drink or food problems. Whether it was morning or night, I counted the cashier drawers for 100% accuracy of the company’s money. When there is no shift lead on the clock I took charge and made sure everyone was in their roles and a proper close was done. Starbucks taught me their most important aspect of their company was the customer and I believe that is true for almost any job. Show less

    • Victoria’s Secret & Co.

      May 2018 - May 2020

As a PINK Campus Rep, I acted as an intermediary between the corporate brand Victoria’s Secret PINK and the University of Cincinnati student life. To ensure the successfulness of on campus and In-Store events, I collaborated with a Campus Rep partner while leading a campus team and engaged with our Local PINK store. We also worked together to manage social media platforms for our university to promote PINK products and events. As a representative I relayed product feedback, as well as, marketed and promoted PINK events on campus. Show less This is my first retail experience, but it won't be my last. I take great pride in working for a company that has a great environment. People make a job and that is important. I assisted customers to find the adequate merchandise for themselves while accomplishing customer's needs and desires to provide excellent customer service. I also replenished the store’s product to provide a full stock of merchandise for customers. My co-workers and I worked as a team to process shipment each week. I managed and counted each cash register on a daily basis to make sure there is the amount needed and 100% accuracy to start each day off. Working retail has made me learn how to approach someone and to find how you can reach their needs to provide the best shopping experience. Show less

      Marketing Co-Op

As a co-op at Makino I learned many things, but the people and the culture of the company at the end of the day made each day worth it. I managed their Infor CRM database, including entering in 100+ international and domestic sales leads.I monitored and distributed emails received from Makino’s website to the correct recipients and/or departments throughout Makino. I utilized data from sources such as webinars, trade shows, and lease expirations to research different clients and competitors. I watched marketing webinars and relayed notes and important ideas back to the head of marketing. Lastly, I participated in weekly marketing meetings and assisted with gathering information from Makino’s advertisement publishers. Show less

    • Condado Tacos

      Mar 2021 - Aug 2021

As a Host at Condado Tacos, there were a variety of tasks I was responsible for. One, I solved seating arrangements with varying party sizes. I verified carry out orders, answered phones, and managed a waitlist. The waitlist got up to 30 parties at some times. I greeted and sat guests in a timely manner. Lastly, I bussed and wiped 20+ tables when needed. Most of the time there was more than one host, so we worked together as a team when doing tasks.
