  Electronics technician intern

  I was part of the processes engineering team responsible for POS (point of sale) production lines. I designed jigs and poka yokes for manufacturing automation using microcontrollers, Arduino, high level programming and electronics applied to automation. Also developed manufacturing steps documentation and worked with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and SAP systems. With that I improved production metrics, such as the reduction of failure rate and assembly time.

  Competition team member

  As a team we designed, manufactured and tested the electronic and telemetry unit of a formula E type vehicle for the Formula SAE Brazil competition. For that we used PIC microcontrollers programmed in C, XBee modules and programming in LabVIEW for supervisory systems. Thus, we could gather and analyze essential data on the vehicle's workings and performance.

  I implemented, in Java, many objective evolutionary algorithms (MOEA) to optimize reactive power re-dispatching in order to minimize technical losses, maximize the voltage stability margin and maximize the power factor at the lowest possible cost. I translated, from MATLAB to Java, deterministic optimization algorithms for economical modeling of electric power systems. I also modeled and implemented operational restrictions for synchronous generators.

  Junior researcher

  worked on the optimization business unit developing heuristics for railway and port logistics optimization. We used the scrum agile methodology and Python, AWS, Git, Azure DevOps and LaTeX as tools and technologies. With that I accomplished optimized results which satisfied the customer's demands.

  Part of the cross-geo R&D team for Verisium Debug, a digital design functional verification debugger. I mainly work on developing logic circuit schematic synthesis algorithms, waveform analysis capabilities, and general GUI improvements. I designed and developed multiple components in a full-stack manner using Java, Swing, C, Python and bash. I am currently leading projects and also worked as scrum master for multiple teams. As a result, latency and code quality improved, critical deals were closed, and team productivity increased. Show less
