Claim succeeded.2000 - 2001 Vinci Managing the restructuring and return to profitability of a major concession contract for French construction multinational Vinci. Established trading position, generated policy for turn around and acted in the role of Operations Director in an interim capacity during the change. Responsible for the day to day management of 300 people on 7 sites round London. 1998 - 2000 Smith IndustriesProject managed a multi-disciplinary engineering team and subcontractors, including WS Atkins Rail, developing, manufacturing and installing an innovative electronic system for a division of Smiths Industries. The development and installation was managed to meet tight timescales required by Connex Rail. 1992 - 1997 Darron Oil ToolsChange management, restructuring and improvement of profitability leading to the sale of the company for the client via a management buy-out. Company was returning 5% on £9m and was sold earning 10% on £18m. Company manufactured down hole drilling tools for the oil exploration sector.1993 - 2004 Oceanair Marine Ltd.Gained funding and assisted with the development of the business. Business has grown from T/O £ 250,000 to T/O £2.5m. Project managed the development of new marine sector products. Company has developed its own market niche of “blinds for boats.”1992 - 1993 Vickers SystemsDefined and implemented a plan for the development of the aftermarket business for the world renowned US aerospace hydraulics manufacturer. Involved the definition of Airline and customer requirements, the establishment of robust systems, the investment of resources and the marketing of the resultant service to clients. Show less
