  Working as a senior developer to help a leading investment bank in design and development of a large-scale distributed application called regulatory reporting system which generates real-time transaction reports for more than 1 million client requests every day.• Implemented highly scalable microservices using Java 11 and Spring boot to asynchronously process request from upstream and generate/submit transaction reports to regulators using REST API.• Helped in migration of cache from Apache Gemfire to Caffeine with MongoDB and achieved 99% cache hit ratio.• Developed a proof of concept to evaluate Kafka as an alternative of IBM MQ for messaging queue migration.• Created an exception management UI using ReactJS to view business exceptions and re-flow the trade.• Collaborated with squads across 5+ global locations for the resolution of issues for bi-weekly production releases, beingan SME of the release process.
