      As a HR Business Partner, I act as an advisor on HR related issues for senior management, align HR goals to correlate with TeamHealth's mission and objectives as a strategic partner to translate business plans into HR strategies and operational plans and streamline HR business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. This also includes providing key oversight of HR for the Northeast to ensure best in class HR services are provided, including, but not limited to:- Development and administration of employee recruitment and retention strategies consistent with existing policies and practices.- Providing managerial and consultative input regarding employee relations, performance management, professional development and compensation.- Serving as a subject matter expert for HRIS, corporate compliance, HIPAA regulatory compliance, ERISA, OSHA, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, equal employment and affirmative action plans, policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state laws. Show less As a HR Business Partner, I acted as a change agent and partner with leadership to implement change initiatives in order to achieve objectives and goals and work with leaders to understand how HR can improve business outcomes to support the organization’s strategic direction and long-term goals. I led strategic initiatives, such as, but not limited to: employee engagement initiatives, succession planning, performance reviews, and merit and bonus process. I identified improvement activities that ensure efficiency in business processes and responded to employee relations issues and advised leaders in order to resolve or manage employee issues. I provided guidance regarding coaching, counseling, progressive disciplinary action, suspension, performance improvement and termination as well as responded to employee concerns. I wasalso the Co-chair of TeamHealth's Veterans Affinity Group.I focused on promoting and evolving TeamHealth's well-being program to encourage employees and their families to live happy, live healthy and live well. This included: leading TeamHealth's wellness team, strategic program design to continue our 7 year streak of 80%+ employee and spouse participation, clinician well-being program, developing communications, coordinating with wellness vendor, data analysis, wellness challenges and campaigns, health screenings and flu shots, high risk health coaching program, Employee Assistance Program including coordinating on-site counselors and referrals; oversaw seven on-site fitness centers.
