      Activities and Societies: Folk Group, St Vincent de Paul, Senior Prefect, History Club, Junior Choir, Bar Mock. I attended OLSPCK from 2009 to 2016, with 3 A Levels: Politics, History and Biology (ABB) as well as 10 GCSEs including History, English Literature and Art (A*A*A). During my time there, I was involved with various clubs. I was an assistant leader with the Folk Group and chairperson of the History Club. I was a loyal member of the Junior Choir and St Vincent de Paul. In my final year I became a Senior Prefect and was a journalist for the Bar Mock 2015.

      Human Rights UnitThe purpose of my job is to support the work of the Human Rights Unit, which ensures that human rights concerns are mainstreamed into all aspects of Irish foreign policy. I work on the Geneva/Brussels side of the team. My duties include servicing the UN Human Rights Council sessions, UN Universal Periodic Review sessions, UN questionnaires, the Media Freedom Coalition, and the Freedom Online Coalition. I lead on event organisation and provide a range of human rights policy and coordination assistance, including joint responsibility for responding to PQs, reps and FOI requests, attending and taking notes at meetings, drafting briefing papers and reports on selected thematic issues. The main policy areas of the Geneva/Brussels team include civil and political rights, civil society space, human rights defenders and rights of the child.
