  • Designed the steering system of Voltron 2.0, keeping in mind various ergonomic considerations.• The newly designed Rack & Pinion system reduced the TCR by a staggering 49 %. • Designed and iterated the entire MDF Fixture Assembly for the new Voltron 2.0.• Worked as a linking member between the vehicle dynamics and chassis dept. to incorporate suspension linkages and steering system sub-fixtures into the main fixture assembly.• Assisted in modifying the vehicle architecture and component placement, this helped to reduce the wheelbase from 1650mm to 1570mm. • Analysed and optimised the car's double wishbone suspension in Lotus Shark software and determined the suspension points.• Designed components for the suspension while keeping the weight as low as possible, reducing the cost, manufacturing time.• Performed Ansys FEA on the designed components.• Maintained the Design Documentation and carried out the process of recruitment and training of junior members. • The workflow included designing the bodyworks of the FSAE Car in CAD Softwares, making iterations, performing CFD Analysis.• Became familiar with CFD and learnt to use SimScale to check the efficiency of the components. • Assisted the team in manufacturing of carbon fiber parts by preparing moulds, sanding and buffing, performing hand layups.
