      This was a particularly enriching experience for me because I got to solve problems everyday and make someone else happy as they left my desk with a smile of enlightenment. Because this was a community college, I had the opportunity to tutor students of all ages and works of live which was very enjoyable as I learned how to approach these different groups of people.

      I worked on projects with peers from various countries in the Middle East. I equally immersed myself in the Middle Eastern & European culture through visits of historic sites with my friends there. I developed poly-electrolyte solutions of optimal compositions for nano-coating of cotton and polyester fabric by preparing solutions, coating fabrics and performing after-coating tests such as flame tests, TGA analysis and cone calorimetry. Through this laboratory research I was able to develop new flame retardant materials.I equally co-authored on two articles published from the PNC lab.

      Provided daily engineering support to the plant management team for the efficient operation of the Air Separation Unit. Equally participated in the execution of large maintenance activities and plant process improvement. I designed a leak detection system for one of the cryogenic oxygen pumps at this Air Liquide site.

      Responsible for testing new analytical devices prior to having them installed in the manufacturing sites. I helped the Process Analytical Technology group make investment decisions on various analytical devices based on device performance test results. Designed and updated analyzer sampling systems with tools such as AutoCAD. I communicated with plant operators and engineers for installing these analyzers in the plants.
