      My current work schedule is the supervising of Agricultural Extension Agents (AEAs) in their activities on the field with farmers, providing backstopping in their set targets for the year under review. Also, setting up of demonstrations and trials of newly released varieties of crop (varieties) on farmers’ fields for them to choose which is suited for them at the end of the demonstration or trial.I am also in charge of the Root and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Project as the desk officer in the Municipal making available to selected farmers certified cassava and yam planting materials supplied from the Agricultural Research Station (Primary Multiplication Site) for Secondary multiplication on farmers’ fields and subsequent supply of planting materials after maturity to Tertiary farmers to cultivate and to make available enough planting materials to produce (cassava and yam) for consumption and processing into various by products.In charge of ProVACCA (Promoting a Value Chain approach to Climate Change adaptation in Agriculture in Ghana) Project, this is enlightening farmers of the effect of weather changes and its effect on agriculture through the cultivation of cassava.Also, I help in the compilation of data submitted by AEAs from field activities for compilation and onward submission to the district/municipal, regional and national offices for the implementation of national policies and to know if targets set are being achieved at the district/municipal, municipal and national levels.
