Organises and conducts practical classes in a computer lab with undergraduate and postgraduate students using SDL Trados Studio 2011 as translation memory software, SDL MultiTerm and MultiTerm Extract as terminology management software and Alchemy Catalyst 10 as localisation software. Also worked with Google Translator Toolkit. Thesis available at http://doras.dcu.ie/19774/Carried out a doctoral research on the motivations of Internet users to contribute to translation crowdsourcing. Analysed the case of Facebook translation crowdsourcing and the Polish community of Facebook user-translators. Investigated the collaborative translation platform developed by Facebook to evaluate its impact on the translators' behaviour and motivation to contribute to the Facebook translation initiative.
