      COVID-19 Venue Management Team Member and Lead

      The Venue Management Team (VMT) was established to support businesses throughout NSW during the COVID-19 pandemic. The VMT assessed the risk of subsequent infection to workers following a COVID-19 exposure in the workplace and provided health advice encouraging businesses to operate safely.

      As a Project Officer, I supported several projects across the Cancer Control Strategy Branch, most notably the development of the Australian Cancer Plan (the Plan), a 10-year plan for national action designed for use by governments, policy makers, service planners, cancer organisations and research funders. Following the Plan's launch by the Minister for Health and Aged Care, my role shifted into implementing the Plan, specifically in delivering networked, comprehensive cancer care to all Australians regardless of geographical barriers through the establishment of an Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network.
